U12 Boys Coach Simon
Just one year ago, the St Cloud Soccer U11 Boys team was sadly defeated in the first round of the FYSA Regions Cup (now known as the Commissioners Cup). This year, with some intense training sessions under their belt and a few new players they are back and ready to win! They participated in the first round of the 2017 Commissioners Cup this past weekend. The team started out strong Saturday with a 3-0 win against Hunters Creek. Next, they suffered a 2-1 loss against South Orlando who scored a last minute goal for the win. On Sunday, the team knew they had to win to move forward to the next round. With a good night’s rest and some good old fashioned determination, Coach Simon’s now U12 Division 2 Stampede were able to secure an amazing 4-1 win over JAYFC Armada, sending the kids on their way to Jacksonville for the next round in their journey to win the 2017 Commissioners Cup!
