There is a change in the offside rule. FIFA now states
that a player must touch the ball to be deemed interfering with
play. Additionally, a player may take an offside position
provided he or she is not "actively involved in play."
"Active play" is defined as:
- Touching the ball after it is passed by a team mate or
rebounded off the post, crossbar, or opponent
- Preventing an opponent from being able to play the ball
by obstructing the opponent's lines of vision or distracting
him/her
