Player Conduct

Soccer plays a vital role in encouraging physical, social and emotional growth of children. It is therefore essential for parents, coaches and officials to encourage their youth soccer players to embrace the values of good sportsmanship, discipline and character development.

Player Code of Conduct:

  • Players will treat everyone, including coaches, parents, players, and officials, with respect regardless of race, creed, nationality, or sex.
  • Be a good sport (win or lose), be honest, fair and always show good sportsmanship to all coaches, players, officials and fans.
  • Learn the value of commitment to the team.
  • Players will not smoke or use any form of tobacco while on the field of play before, during, or after games or practices.

Players will refrain from any commentary that is derogatory towards the club, club members and officials. This includes but is not limited to social media and in person. Any such remarks may result in immediate suspension until a hearing has taken place by the BOD.

  • Do not criticize an opposing team, its players, fans, coaches or team, by words or gestures.
  • Put personal goals aside for the betterment of the team.
  • Realize that athletic contests, including practice sessions, are educational experiences and opportunities.
  • Players will not engage in unsportsmanlike conduct.
  • Players will not engage in rude behavior.

Have Fun!
